Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin
The 3rd Hong Kong Vitreo-retina Society (HKVRS) Congress will take place at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (“Golden Egg”) and Conference Hall 4 & 5 at 10W Building.

Charles K. Kao Auditorium
The Charles K. Kao Auditorium, affectionately known as “The Golden Egg”, is the architectural centrepiece at Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP). The auditorium was named after Sir Charles Kao Kuen, regarded as the “Father of Fibre Optic Communication” and founding member as well as former Director of HKSTP, in honour of his visionary achievements that revolutionised modern communication and the trajectory of human advancement.

Transportation
- Shuttle Service (Provided by HKVRS)
Shuttle service will be arranged for delegates on June 13, 2026. Detailed information will be provided in May.
- Driving
Getting to Science Park is easy – it is located a convenient 30-minute drive on the Tolo Highway from Tsim Sha Tsui. It is also about a 30-minute drive from Shenzhen. Science Park is EV-friendly, providing convenient charging facilities for electric vehicles. Science Park is minutes away from the University and Shatin MTR stations, which you can get to via the East Rail Line. From University station, take the 272K bus to get to the Science Park. From Shatin station, take the 27 minibus.
